Hi, I am a 14 year old boy from Norway and I am writing about the weather changes caused by climate change. I am sure you must have noticed that the weather is changing or the temperature rising.

This year I have noticed that the summers are longer, warmer and the snow is coming later and in smaller amounts. And I have also noticed that it’s raining more so we get more ice up here making the roads more slippery.
The rising temperature will also make the arctic snow melt. Without the arctic snow the sun will not be reflected. Instead the water melting from the ice will absorb the heat of the sun and speed up the process.

The rising temperature will also melt the permafrost. With the permafrost melting the methane gas trapped in pockets beneath the Earth will rise up into the atmosphere and speed up the process even more. If this continues it will be difficult for human kind to survive here. Scientists and meteorologists have already detected that the arctic snow is melting fast. This makes me very concerned for the future on Earth.
